Book Haul || A little bit of everything

So, this new year I've stopped doing monthly book hauls. Basically I didn't feel like showing all the books I got every month, and just made it a small little feature in my monthly wrap-up posts instead. However, in the last month or so, I've gotten some really interesting books, that I really want to share with you guys, and I thought they deserved their own post. Some books I've already talked about in monthly wrap-ups, but some are completely new on my shelf. This is excluding the library books I've gotten, because most are already back at the library.

First, I've gotten a lot of physical copies of books lately. I don't usually spend money on physical copies, simply because most times I just can't afford it, honestly I'd rather just read on my eReader. However, this last month or so I've had an urge to treat myself a little bit, and splurge out on a few books. All the books in the first picture have lgbtq+ characters in them. Also, they are just so damn pretty to look at, and they do wonders for my book shelf. Really, they make the shelf look so much prettier than it did before.

Not Otherwise Specified by Hannah Moskowitz
I've been waiting for this book to come out, and now that I have it, I can't wait to finally read it! It sounds like such an interesting book, plus it's got a bisexual main character, which just makes me even more excited. I've head amazing things about it, so I have high hopes.

Far From You by Tess Sharpe
Another book that I've been staring at for a long time. I've heard a few things about this, and all of them have been good. It sounds really interesting, and I'm very excited to see how I'm going to like it.

Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley
This is yet another book I've been wanting to read ever since it came out. I've heard nothing but amazing things about the book, and I want to read it very soon.

Everything Leads To You by Nina LaCour
This has been on my radar since it came out, but for some reason I have just never gotten around to actually getting a copy of it. However, now that I have one in my possession, it's just about finding this time to actually read it.

Playlist For the Dead by Michelle Falkoff
A 2015 release that I've heard mixed things about. I love books that have some kind of music element to it, which is a big part of why I picked this one up. And because I thought it sounded interesting, of course!

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
I've heard so many things about this book, and it was all over booktube and blog-land back in summer. I've heard some mixed things about this one, but I'm very curious about it anyway. So, we'll see when I'll get around to read it.

Dit Liv I Lister
I am so freaking excited for this thing. It's basically a book for you to write lists in. I love writing lists, and I've been looking at this one since it came out. However, I've always thought it was way too expensive, but it was finally on sale, so I got it 85% off.

Then I got a couple of eBooks. Two of those are reads that has been on my radar for a long time, and I finally decided that I needed them in my collection. I got them all pretty cheap, so I really can't complain about that.

My Heart & Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga
This is a February release, and one I've been looking forward to. It is definitely high on my to be read list, and I hope to get around to reading it very soon.

Only Ever Yours by Louise O'Neill
I have been looking at this one for some time, and I thought the concept of the book sounded interesting. I've seen Cynthia @ Afterwritten raving about it, and that's just made me want to read this book even more.

The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily M. Danforth
It is about time I got this book, now I just need to read it. I think it is one of the books I've been recommended the most in the past years, so it's strange that I only just picked it up now. However, It's in my possession now, and I really just need to start reading it.

Those were the book that I wanted to share with you. Have you read any of these books, or are they on your to-buy list? Have you gotten any interesting books lately?

  1. As you probably know I've read 6 of these books and I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM ALL. I haven't read Playlist for the Dead, We Were Liars, and My Heart & Other Black Holes, but none of those interest me that much – looking forward to seeing what you think of all of these books though! Especially the ones that I love. Ahhhh, seriously, the Miseducation of Cameron Post is the best!!! I love it so much. I really really hope you love it. And Only Ever Yours, obviously, but that's more of a depressing one so I don't get as excited about people reading it.

    1. Honestly the working title for this book haul was 'Cynthia made me buy it', but I went with another title in the end! The Miseducation of Cameron Post is a book that I've wanted to read for years, and I saw it was cheap, so I finally went and bought it!

Also, I have never heard of Only Ever Yours but it looks very intriguing. I will have to check it out.

    1. Only Ever Yours sounds very interesting, although I've heard that it's supposed to be really heartbreaking and slightly depressing. But definitely still interesting! :)
