Book Haul || December 2014

Were back to that time again - Book Haul Time! I'm aware that December has ended, but I wanted to wait hauling my books until the month was well over - So here we are. I got a lot of books in the month of December, but "only" bought 11 of them. All of the 11 were ebooks, and most, if not all, were under $5, so it's not all too bad. I also got a lot of books from the library, and then I got some for Christmas. I've started reading a lot of New Adult lately, so the haul kind of reflects that a bit. But without further ado, I'll show you the books I got my hands on in December.

  1. Ooooh, awesome haul! I really want to read Solitaire and Life in Outer Space as well. Curious to see what you make of them!

    I liked Grasshopper Jungle a lot, though I thought it was a bit disappointing on the female characters front, but it was still a really cool story in a lot of ways. And I liked The Song of Achilles as well, though I have to mention as a Classicist who spent a lot time studying the Iliad, I didn't quite agree with Madeline Miller's interpretation of Patroclus' character. But still, it was quite beautifully written and the ending made me cry.

    I really need to start reading the Lunar Chronicles, haha. EVERYONE LOVES THEM.

    1. Thank you! Solitaire was quite an experience - I still don't know how I feel about it. It was good, but really different!

      I'm really looking forward to reading both Grasshopper Jungle and The Song of Achilles. I've heard great things about both those books, so I really want to read them soon.. (Plus I have to get them back to the library by the 12th, so they are definitely a priority right now)

      I know, I feel like one of the last ones to get to it. I've read the first book in the Lunar Chronicles, and I enjoyed it - I can't wait to see where this series is going to go.
